Thumper is a high octane chocolate lab. He is a NAHRA Master Hunter and son of NFC-FC Storms Riptide Star "Rascal". Rascal is the only choclate labrador to ever win the national. Thumper is everything that a great hunting dog should be. He has amazing bird drive and simply will not quit. Many of our clients have remarked about Thumper's never quit attitude. Midway through a hunt this fall one of our hunters looked at me with a big smile on his face and said "man that dog is aggressive". Thumper has a big heart and will continue to hunt long after other dogs have headed for the truck.
Thumper is an excellent marker and runs his blinds with great style. He is a large framed dog and weighs 78-82 pounds. He has great conformation, as is evidenced by the fact that he continues to hunt hard at the age of 9. Thumper is a pheasant specialist and has found and retrieved thousands of wild and liberated birds.
