Travis Thanks for the wonderful work you did with my dog Mace this past fall. We hunted him quite a bit this year. It was kind of tricky for him to pick up the pheasants and not the quail the first week of the season. Opening day of pheasant season I had Mace out with my brother and I, not 15 minutes into the hunt he was on point. He held a monster covey of quail until my brother was able to get there and kick them up. What a sight it was!!!!! About 10 minutes later he ran over the top of a cock pheasant and flushed it, we shot it and he brought it right to me. We shot 4 birds that day and while Mace didn't point one, he retrieved them all. The next day however was one hell of a show. My brother and I hunted a small 30 acre grass patch. Mace was the first to the field, he walked in and within 20 yards locked up tight. I walked up and a gorgeous rooster flushed, shot him and Mace brought him right back to me. We worked this small field slowly and watched Mace point over 30 birds for us. We left that field with 7 birds in our vest!!!!! Man does this pup love to hunt!!! He will run his butt off and then want to turn around and go the next morning. I know he was a handfull for you, but you'd be amazed at what this dog is doing now. I can thank you for this. Thanks for your wonderful patience and tremendous abilities, I mean if you can get my dog to do what he is doing then I have know doubt in my mind you can train any dog!!! I can attest to Travis's ability at Progundog.com. He worked with my dog Scout this past summer, and she was a new dog this fall. The best thing about working with Travis is there are no stupid questions, he is patient with the owner,and will do what you want with the dog. Heck I'm trying to get another to send him this summer.
What probably impressed me the most was when I went out to pick my dog up, I had to bring my 1.5 yr old son out due to daycare issues. IT was a non-issue for Travis and he made every accoodation he could for me while working the dog.

Sky is doing very well. She is retrieving pheasants like a dream. She has retrieved every bird we have shot so far. She is hunting very hard for the first couple of hours and then begins to slow down a little. She is getting bolder with each trip we go hunting. We really like her a lot. We haven’t got to go goose hunting yet maybe this weekend we will get her into some geese. As you can tell we have been very pleased with the progress she made with you. How is your wild bird population this year?

Bandit went on his first hunt this past weekend.
He pointed and held two hen pheasants as well as a rooster - which I subsequently shot and he found, He also recovered a crippled quail.
He hunts relatively close in and obeys very well.
I was quite pleased with his performance.
He definitely knows why he is out there and will be an outstanding hunter,

I was very pleased with the training my young GSH received. Everything that was promised was delivered. What was more impressive was the willingness to go over and above and spend time with me when I arrived to pick up the dog. The knowledge transfer and comfort level provided by spending some quality time working through the training routine was invaluable. Had a blast with Buster this season. He had a fantastic first season. We will be going on our last duck hunt of the year this weekend for the junior hunt.
