"Bud"

Extremely nice bird dog in every way. This guy is the total package, great looks, supreme style on birds, fantastic pedigree, and outstanding trainability. Bud is broke to wing and shot and is force fetched. We have been guiding pheasant hunts with him all season and have allowed him to break at the shot, since the other dogs he is hunted with are not broke to wing/shot/fall. We will steady him again this spring to prepare him for Master Level AKC Hunt Tests.

Bud will handle with voice or whistle commands and will range accordingly. If you let him have his head and run, he will cast 200-300 yards, if you want him closer, he can be handled to stay in comfortable gun range (40-60 yards). Not a "run off" type of dog at all. Even at long range he handles to the front and works with you. I have been using him to guide pheasant hunts and he is doing a super job. He is a total stud on point and really slams into his points hard.

Bud shows 22 Field Champions and 5 National Field Champions in his four generation pedigree. His conformation is outstanding, and we have just delivered two very nice litters that he has sired. Dogs with his combination of style, breeding, conformation, and intelligence don't come around very often. I train about 120 bird dogs each year and only come across a hand full that are the total package.

"Champ"

What a great looking dog! Champ is a direct son of a National Champion and is carrying the torch with style. This young dog is showing great potential. Introduced to birds, starting early field work, and beginning collar conditioning.

Champ is getting better every day and has STUD DOG written all over him.

"Chester"

"Deets"

Here is a fantastic bird dog. Great pedigree, good looking, lots of wild bird experience, and outstanding style on point. I have used Deets to guide pheasant hunts for the last three years and he has had literally hundreds and hundreds of birds killed over him. He handles very easily, and will range close if you want him to, or he will really open up and cover the field if that's what you want. He is gorgeous on point and will back another dog from 100 yards away, or by the sound of the pointing dogs beeper collar if he can't see them. This dog is virtually trouble free. A novice could take him out and be successful the first day. He is 100% whoa broke, loads in the truck or trailer, handles perfectly off of foot or 4-wheeler. This is a serious, go all day bird dog.

Deets has 15 Champions in his 5 generation pedigree. We have used him as a stud, but are looking for a little bigger dog to use in our breeding program. Deets is only 45 lbs and we have raised him from a pup with our kids, so he would make an ideal family dog. He is clean and quiet in the kennel. He will retrieve quail but is not a strong retriever on pheasants. He will hunt dead and point dead on pheasants.

"Eve"

Excellent quality young female. Eve is great looking and has the conformation, style, and natural ability that will make her an asset to any breeding program. Medium sized dog, very sweet disposition. Not a barker or a trouble maker of any sort. Clean in the kennel and house broke. We are developing Eve right now and she is nearly finished with "whoa" breaking. Strong hunt, and medium/short range, she would make a great dog for a shooting preserve.

"Scooter"

Scooter is a nice young dog out of some excellent breeding. He is clean white on both sides with a liver head. Scooter is whoa broke, handles great in the field, will honor another dog's point, and is starting to retrieve. Good looking dog with a great personality and a fantastic pedigree.

(Update) We have been using Scooter to guide pheasant hunts and he is doing very well. Hunts close, points hard, not retrieving very well yet. Can be force fetched this summer.

"Maddy"

This is a really nice little female setter. Maddy is quick and snappy on the ground and is really fun to watch work. She hits her points hard and has outstanding style on point. Backs naturally, and is starting to retrieve. Whoa broke, collar conditioned, introduced to gunfire, handles with whistle, medium range. The above picture is her natural style not a set up picture. Very birdy, hard hunting dog. I have been using Maddy to guide some pheasant hunts and she is doing great. She has picked up on the game quickly and is hammering her birds. Some dogs don't transition very well from the training fields to an actual guiding situation with all the distractions and excitement, but Maddy is proving to be a real asset to our operation.

"Butch"

Butch is an excellent young dog, with outstanding style and intensity on point. Butch is whoa broke and handles with a whistle in the field. He is medium range and is very quick on the ground. He is showing an excellent nose and will back on sight. We also have a full sister to "Butch" named "Maddy", both dogs have "straight up" style and are textbook perfect on point. Butch is retrieving naturally very well, but can be force broke if you prefer. 

(Update) Butch is now being used to guide pheasant hunts and is doing a great job. Very nice on point and is showing a good nose even with our currently very dry field conditions.

"Zoom"

Zoom is a very well bred young dog. She is introduced to gunfire, handles with a whistle and is pointing birds without a check cord. We are whoa breaking her right now and will soon move on to finish work on quail. Zoom has good conformation and is very intense on point. She hunts hard in the field and will really cover the ground. Not a run off dog at all, but she is medium range and will not be under foot all day. Handles nicely and will turn with you in the field and stay to the front.

"Ranger"

This is a good looking young Pointer with really good natural ability. Ranger is now "whoa" broke and is moving on with his field work. Starting to retrieve, working on honoring. Nice medium range "work horse" type of dog. Good style and intensity on point. Shows a better than average nose.
