"Cade"

Cade is a talented young dog that is getting better every day. He is currently force fetched, collar conditioned, has all basic obedience, is steady, and is through his basic handling drills. Nice solid level 4 dog at this stage. Running simple cold blinds and he is gaining confidence and precision in his handling.

Cade is a good marker and is doing Senior level doubles on land and water. He is introduced to decoys and will retrieve from a platform stand. He is very steady in the blind. We are killing birds right in front of him now and he won't budge until you tell him to. Cade has a great working attitude and is a quick learner. Gets along well with other dogs and is good with new people. Very nice young advanced dog. Medium sized, will likely be about 70 lbs when fully mature. Preliminary hip X-rays look good. We will guarantee his hips to pass OFA. Well bred dog out of a HRCH, and is a grandson to AFC-FC High Tech CEO.

"Cricket"

Cricket is a very good upland and family dog. Solid level 3 dog with lots of experience. I guided pheasant hunts with her all last season and she has retrieved tons of birds. Works well with other dogs and is accustomed to hunting and handling with 6-10 hunters in the field. Force fetched, obedience trained, great with other dogs and kids. Never used as a waterfowl dog, but is introduced to decoys. Small size of about 50 lbs makes her the perfect fit for the upland hunter who also wants a family dog that isn't too big.

Check out the video link above. It shows Cricket working for the gun, under control, at close range. I make a bad shot on this pigeon and it sails to the bottom of the creek. Impossible for her to mark from her position. Notice that she sticks with it and digs out this tough cripple. You can't teach that, a dog has to learn that from experience.

"Kali"

Kali is a very nice young dog that is just starting serious training. She has been through our "Head Start" program and is a retrieving machine. Currently working on obedience, we will soon be moving on to force fetch. Kali has a sweet personality, but at the same time she is very aggressive in the field. With her personality and temperament, she would make a great family dog as well as a top notch field performer.

"Ruff"

Really nice young dog out of FC-AFC Blackwater Rudy. "Ruff" is force fetched, line steady, doing long doubles, and is transitioning into running blind retrieves. Good looking dog, likely be about 80 lbs at full maturity. Good style retrieving and good water attitude. "Ruff" has the potential to run hunt tests once we finish his transition work. He marks well and is learning fast. He will have work out of a boat as well as several different types of land blinds. Nice young dog with great potential.

"Magnum"

Magnum is a very cool dog. He has a super personality and has a great training attitude. He simply loves to retrieve. I have been in the marsh with lots of dogs, and I can easily say that Magnum is a joy to hunt with. He will sit calmly on a platform or in a duck blind all day without a single complaint. No whining, no nonsense, he just wants to kill some ducks!!!

Magnum will do blind retrieves on land or in water. Steady in the duck or goose blind. I have worked him on marks out to 250 yards in training and he is one of the best marking dogs that I have ever worked with. This fall while guiding a pheasant hunt a hunter hit a bird and we watched it sail 350 yards into a cut wheat field. Magnum watched the bird go down from my side and when the bird hit the ground I sent him. All the hunters watched as he crossed a deep ravine, came up the other side and made a bee line for the down bird. Several hunters commented that it was the best retrieve that they had ever seen a dog make.

Magnum is a big boy, 95 lbs of solid muscle. There is not a goose too big for this guy!!! He is surprisingly athletic for a dog of his size.

Magnum has a pedigree that is second to none. His sire is a National Champion and his dam is a yellow Field Champion. Magnum has had his eyes certified by CERF and his hips are OFA certified "EXCELLENT".

"Magic"

Magic is a QAA Field Trial or Master Level of Hunt Tests. Steady in the duck blind, obedience is very good. This dog will do anything that a duck hunter could demand of him and more. You can take him to the marsh and hunt him or enter him in hunt tests. This is the kind of dog that even a beginner can be successful with. Lots of experience and very smooth. Magic will run blind retrieves out to 200 yards and beyond. The blind retrieve that he runs on the video clip is about 145 yards, and as you can see he handles very well. What a great conservation tool for the serious duck hunter.
